The School of IMPACT
A next-generation international
day-and-boarding school on the shores of Lake Geneva.
The World Has Changed.
But Education Hasn’t.
65% of today’s students will work in jobs that don’t exist yet. Yet most schools still teach for a world that’s gone.
-The World Economic Forum
We will cultivate curious, resilient, globally-minded students who pair intellectual excellence with creativity, courage and service. Success is measured not just by grades but by the ventures students launch, the problems they solve and the measurable positive impact they create.
The Eastwood Difference
At Eastwood Montreux, learning is designed for the world ahead.
We combine world-class academics with real-world creation, guided by expert educators, entrepreneurs, and artists. From our innovative online academic model to our lakeside campus and global mentor network, every element helps students build lives of purpose, creativity, and impact.
Welcome to the next generation of education.
-

Eastwood Global Plus
World-class IB or American academics delivered through our online school and guided on-site by expert tutors. Small classes, personal support, and flexible schedules create the freedom for mornings of academic mastery, and afternoons of real-world impact.
-

The IMPACT Program
Six strands that turn learning into action: Imagination, Motion, Planet, Action, Character, and Technologies. Each builds real-world skills: communicating ideas, leading teams, creating ventures, protecting the planet, mastering technology, and building lifelong wellbeing, guided by mentors who help students apply knowledge with purpose.
-

The Swiss Riviera
Set in a 19th-century castle between lake and mountain, Eastwood Montreux offers a safe, inspiring, and connected environment. The region blends Swiss calm with access to world-class institutions and culture - from CERN and the UN to the Montreux Jazz Festival - a location that nurtures focus, creativity, and opportunity.
-

Global Mentorship
Through our 53 Leaders network, students connect with visionary thinkers, entrepreneurs, and creators shaping the future across business, science, the arts, and technology. Each mentor represents a year of Eastwood’s legacy since 1973, forming a living classroom without walls where inspiration becomes guidance and ideas turn into action.
Education Reimagined
in the heart of Switzerland
Eastwood Montreux is set in a beautifully restored Belle-Époque château overlooking Lake Geneva.
Inside, students learn in bright, modern classrooms designed for Eastwood Global’s IB and American Diploma programs, alongside dedicated study studios, seminar rooms, and quiet focus spaces.
The campus includes a full boarding house, common rooms, dining hall, creative studios, fitness areas, and spaces for our six IMPACT strands – from entrepreneurship and technologies to arts, movement, and outdoor learning.
Just a short walk from the lakefront and minutes from Montreux’s sports clubs, cultural venues, and transport links, the school offers everything students need for a safe, enriching, and world-class Swiss boarding experience.
The
IMPACT Strands
Learning by Doing.
Six paths to IMPACT.
One Purpose: prepare young people for the future
IMPACT is a pioneering new real-world skills program
where students learn through doing.
Every afternoon, they work on personal and group projects across six strands that develop the mindset, creativity, and leadership needed to shape their own futures.
-
Where creativity and storytelling meet innovation.
Students write, design, and create; producing short films, editing magazines, or launching YouTube channels that express new ideas and perspectives. Students learn to communicate with clarity, to think creatively, and to turn imagination into influence.
-
Sport, fitness, and lifelong wellbeing.
Students train for endurance challenges, lead sports teams, and design wellness programmes that build strength, confidence, and balance. Students learn that discipline, energy, and resilience are the foundation for every form of success.
-
Sustainability and systems thinking in action.
Students map local biodiversity, build vertical gardens, and collaborate with Swiss NGOs on sustainability initiatives that create measurable impact. Students learn to connect systems thinking with action, turning environmental awareness into stewardship.
-
Entrepreneurship, leadership, service.
Students launch start-ups, pitch to investors, and lead service projects that tackle real community challenges.
Students learn to lead, to take ownership, and to make ideas real.
-
Ethics, resilience, and independence.
Students build confidence through alpine expeditions, public speaking, and mentorship, learning how to handle challenge and change. Students learn that who they are matters more than what they achieve.
-
AI, robotics, and the tools of tomorrow.
Students explore AI, robotics, and data science through coding sprints and product design labs, building tools for the world ahead. Students learn to work with technology as creators, not consumers shaping the future with purpose, not fear.
At Eastwood Montreux,
grades are just the beginning.
Every student builds a Legacy Project – a venture, creative work, or social initiative that develops over time and lives beyond their time at Eastwood.
Their growth is demonstrated through the IMPACT Profile, a world-first metric created with the Harvard Graduate School of Education to measure leadership, resilience, and creativity.
These achievements are brought together in the Eastwood Passport, the new global credential combining each student’s academic results, IMPACT Profile, and Legacy Project.
It’s more than a transcript, it’s proof of what they’ve built, not just what they’ve learned.
“Today’s challenges are mighty and there’s nothing more important than preparing young people. I’m a huge believer in international schools to lead this.”
-Jan Royall, President of Somerville College, Oxford University
Learning from the World’s Best
Guided by 53 leaders from around the world – educators, entrepreneurs, scientists, artists, and creators shaping the future of learning and work.
From Oxford economists and BAFTA-winning filmmakers to Olympic athletes, UN diplomats, bestselling authors, and tech founders, this council brings global expertise directly into our school.
They teach masterclasses, review student projects, offer career insights, and help shape the IMPACT curriculum. Students meet them in small groups, hear their stories, and receive guidance on their ideas, ambitions, and Legacy Projects.
The 53 Leaders are role models, door-openers, and proof that young people can belong in the rooms where the world’s decisions, ideas, and innovations happen.
